Toward the end of last year, Daniel and I decided that it was time for a change in the way that we have been eating! We decided to go through our pantry and get rid of all the processed food and replace it with healthier choices.
It wasn't enough to just go on a "diet". Whenever you go off those "diets", you gain all the weight back! Not cool! It was time for a major lifestyle change!
After talking to a friend who has faced similar health challenges that I have, we decided to switch to eating Paleo as well as dairy free and gluten free!
What a change it has made! We have more energy and less health issues.
This, along with Reliv has really helped us so much!
In addition to relief of many health issues, I have lost about 15 pounds...and Daniel has lost about the same amount!
We were having some challenges with Miss Z. not eating her veggies when she first came to us. Now, she is asking for SALAD! I was shocked! I never thought I'd see the day when my two year old was asking for salad!
We start each day with smoothies...sneaking in some kale, spinach, carrots and other veggies! Miss Z. loves them and always asks for more!

Another change that has happened recently is that Daniel has gone back to work for the Sheriff's Department. There are definitely pros and cons to this recent change.
We will choose to focus on the positive aspects of this change...
Daniel now gets some days off in the middle of the week which allows him to help me get the girls to doctor appointments and such! This makes me life WAY easier!

Life is always much better when you're doing exactly what God has called you to do! God has called us to minister to the widows and the orphans. Since we do not have orphanages in the United States, we do still have opportunity to minister to orphans in the ministry of foster care!
I am often reminded of the words of Jesus:
"Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me."
We are so blessed to have the 3 babies in our home. God is working in their little lives. He has big plans for them. I'm so glad that we get to be a part of that!
Blessings!
