Since the last time I posted, a LOT has happened!
In July of last year, we got two more foster care placements...both girls!
Mr. Daniel is now outnumbered...four girls to one guy! Bless his heart! I'm so thankful to have such an amazing partner on this journey (more like roller coaster!)
Foster care is so hard on the heart! You think you have a handle on what's going on and then everything changes! Baby I. was all set to go home by Christmas...and all that changed in a moment of weakness on the part of her biological mom. Such a sad situation! But, as you can imagine, we had such a wonderful time spending her first Christmas with her! (Are you starting to see what I mean about a roller coaster?!) Baby I. (whom we got when she was just 3 days old) is now turning 9 months next week! Amazing how fast time goes! She is crawling everywhere and getting into everything! She is such a little sun spot in our home and we love every minute we get to spend with her!
Miss Z. came to us at 18 months old along with her little sister, Baby K. These two have blessed our home so much in the few months they have been here! When Miss Z. came to us, she was a sad, scared little girl. When you touched her, she would just scream and cry. What a difference love and stability makes in the lives of these little ones! She is now such an affectionate little girl who loves to give hugs, kisses and snuggle while we watch a movie!
Baby K. is now 9 months old. She is also crawling and loves to get into everything! It's amazing how her little personality is already starting to show. She has so many teeth already and thinks that everything belongs in her mouth! (We have teeth marks on cribs, toys, books, etc. to prove it!) Baby K. is such a little sweetheart! We love her so much!
We are loving all the ribbons and lace that come along with having three little baby girls! So much fun!
